However, I came home feeling the benefit was fleeting. I think the Peace Corps offers a mechanism for me to use my talents to make a lasting contribution in another country, and that excites me.

I have been in my current professional position for about fifteen years. I have always enjoyed what I do as a nurse practitioner, working with individuals with diabetes.
